Setting goals is a great way to stay motivated. It will help you push yourself to the limits. Set a realistic goal, tell your family/friends about it, then start working towards your goal!
By a realistic goal I mean, don’t expect to squat 200lbs in the first month of working out or run 5K if you are not there just yet… Find out what makes you happy and go for it ;)
i agree… goals are rewards and we should all have things to strive for. my goal was to get that bathing suit i wanted…then i tried it on and hated it…lol.. i have to set a new goal, but right now is not the best time for me to think about that….. i’m just going to keep going and keep pushing… and hope it gets m through this depression i’m struggling with :(
instead of watching tv, i’m going to RUN to work to get my check :) yes, i still get paper checks…don’t judge me…lol.. gives me a reason to GO… i don’t do automatic stuff.. it’s just one more excuse to be lazy and not have control over life.
off work today, very bored…. i CAN’T just sit at the computer all day……i’m going to go catch up on my shows (touch and awake…..anyone watch those?..they are AWESOME) and work out while i watch them…TGIF!!!!!!!!
